Since our GFP (Green Fluorescent Protein), β-Gal (β-Galactosidase, LacZ) and epitope tag antibodies (HA, DYKDDDDK, and C-MYC) were made in chickens, they can be used in double immunostaining applications along with your existing mouse and rabbit antibodies. Moreover, the larger size of the chicken IgY heavy chain (80 kDa) makes it significantly easier to detect antigens in the 40-60 kDa range by immunoprecipitation.
