Our catalog of Glial and Schwann cell marker antibodies can be used along with your existing mouse or rabbit antibodies in double-labeling studies. All of these cell markers are made against sequences that are 100% shared between mouse, rat and human proteins, assuring that these antibodies will react with a wide range of different mammalian species, in addition to mice, rats and humans. In some cases, our Glial and Schwann cell markers contain mixtures of anti-peptide antibodies generated against different regions of the same gene product, improving signals in your experiments, while still assuring target-specificity.
To serve your individual needs, our Glial and Schwann cell Marker Antibodies are sold in three ways (see below).

(2) as a 1 – NeuralSampler® Kit (one 200 µl vial of Glial Cell Marker antibody plus 50 µl of a secondary anti-chicken IgY antibody* plus 1.0 ml of BlokHen® blocking reagent designed for use with chicken IgY antibodies)
(3) as a 3 – NeuralSampler® Kit [three 200 µl vials of any combination of Glial Cell Marker antibodies, plus three vials (50 µl each) of the secondary antibody of your choice, plus 3.0 mls BlokHen® blocking reagent designed for use with chicken IgY antibodies]. Please feel free to order any combination of neuronal and glial cell markers for these 3-NeuralSampler® kits.
* In the NeuralSampler® kits, you have your choice between our secondary anti-chicken IgY antibodies. These affinity-purified secondary antibodies were generated in goats and are coupled with either fluorescein, biotin, alkaline phosphatase, or horseradish peroxidase. Unconjugated goat anti-chicken IgY antibodies are also available. With the 3-Antibody NeuralSampler® Kit, you may choose any combination of secondary antibody, including three of the same kind, if you want.
